Deepen your spiritual life and develop leadership skills in this intentional community!
We are now accepting application for the Residential Internship program for the 2016-17 school year. Apply here!
The Geller Center’s residential internship offers students the opportunity to live in intentional community, deepen their spiritual practices, and develop leadership skills through taking on some sort of project in the Geller Center community. The internship usually lasts from September-May, with options to continue during the summer.
Through this in-depth experience, our interns shape our community. Some recent projects that interns have taken on are building our organic garden and using it as a teaching tool for urban organic agriculture, starting our community gallery and artisan space, hosting writing workshops, co-leading a service trip, developing a direct trade coffee project, and facilitating a sexuality discussion series.
We especially look for:
~Interest in and commitment to broad and inclusive spirituality, open to diversity of belief and practice;
~Ability to participate in, organize, or lead new or current Geller Center programs;
~Experience or commitment to peacemaking and social justice issues;
~Desire to live in community in an intentional and focused way;
~Special skills that will help the Geller Center improve and thrive (ex: marketing, social media, fund-raising, hospitality, leadership)
We begin taking applications after CSU’s Spring Break. For more information, look at our current Residential Internship Job Description or contact us at email@example.com.
